O-Rings

O-rings can be used in a multitude of fields. Their main function which characterises this kind of joint is their capacity to maintain water tightness, preventing them from mixing with liquids and gases. They are therefore ideal in joining parts, for example. These joints, normally made of processed rubber and with a toroidal structure, are also characterised by their versatility and resistance to high temperatures and pressure. Although they are normally made using processed rubber, the type of elastomer used in producing them can vary. As we can see, it is a part with various important functions in several fields of industry.
